FAQ

Getting Started

When is the event being held?

The Mansfield Farmers’ Market is held on the 4th Saturday of the month Feb – Dec. Our December Christmas market can vary from 3rd to 4th Saturday depending on the day that Christmas falls each year.

What can I expect?

There are wide range of stallholders at the market each month ranging from fruit and vegetables to specialty items such as caper and saffron, sour dough breads, baked goods, sweets and fudge, honey, nuts, meat and plenty of plants.

How do I apply to have a stall at the Mansfield Farmers market?

Please fill out the application form that can be found here. Note that not all applications will be accepted as we try and create a wide range of products at each market without too many overlaps. We are a food and plant market – this is not the place to sell crafts and homemade goods

On the day

How do I get there?

The market is located at the Western end of town. If you are arriving from Benalla, turn right at the round about. If you are coming from Melbourne then we will be on your right as you enter town.

Can I bring my dog with me?

Whilst dogs are permitted at the market if under control AND on a leash at all times, as a stallholder we advise that you leave your pooch at home.

Where can I park?

Stallholders can pull into the central parking sites adjacent to the median strip to unload their goods. After unloading ALL vehicles should be moved to the All Day parking spots available close to the market. Note that this is a directive from Mansfield Shire Council as part of our permit.
