It’s definitely winter – plenty of snow on the mountains and even some rain. It’s nice to see that our water tanks have a little more in them, but this “Dry July” (rain, not alcohol) is not great for food production.
Our stallholder list is ever changing -this month Ros Ritchie won’t be with us but Northern Slopes Plantation are back again. Mojo Muesli won’t be at the market but you can place an order via Jillicious or Maindample Imperial Fudge and it can be delivered through the week (within Mansfield). Long Lane Capers have returned – after a delicious High Country lunch at Movida in Melbourne, and Herbs to Heal are coming with their medicinal plants and herbs. Sadly Locheilan Cheese haven’t got any cheese but we hope they are back again next month.
July is the month for the official Mansfield Boomerang Bags launch – and it’s at our market! A joint effort from the Mansfield CWA, Mansfield Community Bank and Up2Us Landcare – Boomerang Bags are all about using reuseable bags for shopping. All of the time. Come along and see this fantastic initiative and support a Plastic Bag free Mansfield.
